One of the most common mistakes people make is spilling the paint while working on a ladder. 2. Bumping the ceiling

3. Over brushing
If you are painting woodwork or doors, it can be tempting to continue brushing the same area as the paint dries. However, this causes unsightly ridges and brush marks, so try to avoid overpainting and focus on using one or two strokes at most.
